How much does it cost to rent a Jeep in Miami or Fort Lauderdale?
With BEXT, a Jeep or Bronco costs $79 to $119 a day depending on the vehicle and the season, plus 12% sales tax and fees, a $15 Florida surcharge and a highway recovery fee of about $2.67 per day. A $500 refundable hold is placed on your card at pickup. Airport valet at Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is included; Miami (MIA) delivery adds $100 per rental. Why the counter rate is not the real rate
A big-box airport counter can show a lower headline number. What it does not show:
- The shuttle and the line. A bus to the rental-car center and a queue at the counter, twice: on arrival and on return. We meet you at the curb.
- “Jeep Wrangler or similar.” The photo is a Wrangler; the keys may be for something else. With us the model is guaranteed.
- Counter upsells. Toll transponders, fuel plans, upgrades and coverage pushed while you are tired. Our extras are listed here, priced, and optional.
- Young-driver and airport fees. With us, drivers 21–24 simply add the coverage; FLL pickup is included and MIA is a flat $100.

Is the price I see guaranteed?
The rate and total in your quote are guaranteed for 24 hours. Availability is not: the vehicle is only held once you confirm and pay.
What is included in the price?
The daily rate, statutory taxes, any extras you selected, all surcharges and fees, and basic cleaning. The $500 security deposit is a hold on your card, not a charge.
Are there hidden fees at pickup?
No. The total in the checkout is the total charged. Only a return outside the agreed terms (excess dirt, smoking, fuel below the pickup level, damage) adds a charge, and each of those is listed on this page.
Do you charge more for drivers under 25?
Drivers 21 to 24 must add the required additional coverage; there is no separate young-driver fee on top of it.
Can I pay with a debit card, or in cash?
Credit and debit cards are accepted. Cash is not, for the rental or the deposit.
