Most cruise lines board around midday and disembark early in the morning. That leaves a half day or a full day on each end that usually goes to a hotel lobby and a taxi. With a BEXT rental, the driver meets you at the airport when you land and takes the vehicle back at the terminal curb before you board, or the reverse when you come off the ship.

The $500 security hold is placed on your card at pickup and released after the vehicle is returned and checked; your bank decides how many days it takes to show as available again.
